When God Fights For Us~ Day 25 {Make. It. Count.}

Her words were meant to hurt,
to cut like a knife,
to sting and burn long after she was gone.

Her intentions were to upset,
to stir up strife,
to start a train-reaction of deep-seated emotion.

Her motives were to tear down,
to unravel and undo,
to demolish and destroy.

And yet,

despite her words,

regardless of her intentions,

in spite of her motives,

God prevailed.

God's Word was soothing,
comforting and healing,
reminding us of His continual presence.

God's intention pulled us closer together,
creating a deeper harmony,
building an unbreakable bond of unity.

God's motive lifted us higher,
igniting our passion and strengthening our determination,
fortifying and reviving our hearts.

If,
in the heat of the battle,
we will hold fast to our God,
and stand firm in His ways,
God will fight our battle for us.

If,
when accusations and insults are hurled,
we speak only words of truth,
wrapped in love and humility,
God will exonerate and vindicate His own.

If,
when Satan comes in like a flood
we uphold the standard of our God,
in a manner worthy of His Holy name,
God will give the victory.

Her words were meant to . . .

But, God.

Her intentions were to . . .

But, God.

Her motives were to . . .

But, God.

We need only be still and know He is God.

If we will let Him,
God will take what Satan means for harm,
and He will use it,
for our good
             and
                  for His glory.

Our God will Make. It. Count.

Every. Single. Time.

The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest.
~Exodus 14:14, The Amplified Bible
