Only God~ Day 3 (31 Days of Wisdom)

The very essence of the word emanates wisdom.

The first definition for God at is none other than this:

the one Supreme Being, the creator and ruler of the universe.

Have you ever created a universe?

Have you ever ruled

the sun,

the moon

or the stars?

Only God can declare HIS Word and speak an entire universe into existence.

Only God can scoop down, pick up some dust from the ground, form a man, and breathe a life into existence.

Only God.

He is the creator. We are the created.

Simply put, if we are trusting in our plans, our understanding, our wisdom, we don't have a leg of truth to stand on.

How could we?

How could we ever presume to know more than God?

How could we, the created being, possibly have a plan better than that of the creator, the One who first planned us?

And yet, sadly, amazingly, FOOLISHLY,

we try to skirt around God's law,

we try to convince our self that self knows best,

we try to do life without the Life Giver,

we try to be God.

Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
don't try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
he's the one who will keep you on track.
Don't assume that you know it all.
Run to God!

~ Proverbs 3:5-7, The Message

Don't assume that you know it all. Run to God!

Sounds like wisdom to me~
