When Words Are Not Enough~

Have you ever found yourself speechless before God?

The closer I come to God, the more I find myself struggling to find words to adequately express my gratitude, my praise, and my love for HIM. He is all too wonderful and far too beautiful to be described with mere words. The words of my mouth cannot begin to do justice to the majesty of who He is or to fully explain what He has become to me.

When I find myself lost in His glory and consumed with His love, I simply come before Him in silence and in awe.

Tonight is one of these times. As I sat down to write, I realized there were no words to capture the essence of what is in my heart. Words are simply not enough. As I searched for words, I thought of this song by Steven Curtis Chapman.

As you listen, may your own heart begin to worship. May you be drawn into the very presence of God and may you, like me, find yourself speechless in His glory.

  1. Stacey, I really appreciated this post from you. I've been struggling all day thinking of what to write next. I know He'll always provide or He wouldn't have called me to do this, but sometimes it's really hard. We're heading out of town and like to post ahead and schedule my posts, but I may just get caught "with my pants down" this time! Pray for me! Love you for what you do!

  2. I love to sing all day long, usually a lalala without words, but our Father God knows what is in my heart. That is why I make a Joyful Noise unto Him.

By the way, I discovered how to remove those awful captcha from your blog comments: They do discourage readers from leaving a comment.

    1. Your blog is automatically doing captcha because you are probably on the new "Blogger Interface." Log on to your Blogger dashboard and hit the gear button on the righ, then go down and choose "Old Blogger Interface". Be sure to save your work.

This may fix the problem. If not try fix #2

    2. At your Dashboard click on settings then on comments. Under comments moderation – check the box “always” (the top choice.) Add your e-mail address in the box below it. It should cancel your captcha. Then SAVE what you did.
