This past August, on our Anniversary, my husband and I returned to the special spot in the nearby mountains where we said our "I DO"s. After some reminiscing, we were heading back to our car, when my husband spotted this little guy, sheltering in the cleft of the rocky mountain side, safe and secure.
As children of the Lord, we have a safe and secure place of refuge, too.
Safely hidden in the cleft of God's love,
sheltered under the wings of His faithfulness,
held secure by His mercy and grace.~ |
Hi Stacy - just what I needed to hear today. i was just telling myself not an hour ago that I feel that I have no refuge. God is my refuge!!

What a beautiful image for those words. And what rest there is in that refuge.
