Faithful to Lead~

I needed to know.

So, a couple of weeks ago, I put out my fleece.

I desperately wanted to please the one who loved me enough to die on Calvary's cross,

but

I also wanted to please the one for which he chose to die.

I was at a cross-road.

So, I asked God for a very specific sign.

(Did I mention I asked for a VERY specific sign?)

I admitted to God I was afraid to pray this prayer.

If I didn't "see the sign", I would be heartbroken,

but still I prayed,

"Not my will, but YOURS be done."

I knew I couldn't move until I knew HIS will.

The next day

my prayer was answered in a very specific way.

(Did I mention my prayer was answered in a VERY specific way?)

God was faithful to lead me.

He showed me the way to go.

He took my fleece,

doused in faith,

wrapped in surrender,

and answered.

He knew I needed to know.

  1. Hi Stacy - amen. God is so good to us in that He knows what we need far better than we ever will. Lovely post.
    God bless

  2. I love when God takes our fearful wonderings and comes through in ways that are more than we could ask or imagine.

  3. It's such a blessing when the Lord shows us exactly what He wants us to do or how He will meet our need. He knows when to give the answer right away or when we need to wait. So glad this was a quick and clear answer.

    Blessings,
    Janis
