It's seen in a sunrise,
as the sun throws backs the covers of the horizon and slowly, sleepily peeks out in beams of light.
It's seen in a flower,
as the petals uncurl from the center of who they are and regally, gracefully unveil their beauty in bloom.
It's seen in a prisoner,
as a heart rebounds from the events of the past and willfully, hopefully enters through an open door.
It's seen in a prayer,
as words ascend from the lips of a sinner and immediately, boldly reach the throne room of Heaven.
It's seen in a heart,
as grace washes away the stains of the soul and amazingly, triumphantly ushers in newness of life.
A new morning.
A new blessing.
A new beginning.
A new heart.
It's seen in the cross,
as Jesus' blood cleanses the sins of the world and mercifully, lovingly invites us to be

Forget the things that happened in the past.
Do not keep on thinking about them.
I am about to do something new.
It is beginning to happen even now.
Don't you see it coming?
